Creatives Project Ghana Launches the CPG 100, Kicks Off With 100 Notable Ghanaian Creatives in 2025

Creatives Project Ghana (CPG) has announced the launch of the CPG 100, a new annual initiative spotlighting 100 creatives, cultural producers, and ecosystem builders shaping Ghana’s creative landscape.

The CPG 100 is designed as a living record of creative impact in Ghana, documenting individuals and platforms whose work has influenced culture, sustained creative practice, and expanded access across sectors throughout the year.

According to CPG, the list goes beyond popularity or online visibility. Instead, it focuses on consistency, originality, cultural relevance, and measurable impact, capturing both creators at the forefront of public-facing work and the catalysts operating behind the scenes.

What the CPG 100 Represents

The CPG 100 brings together creatives across disciplines, including digital content, literature, film, food, theatre, publishing, media platforms, and community-driven initiatives. It also includes a dedicated Catalysts category, recognising organisations and individuals that provide infrastructure, opportunities, funding, platforms, and visibility for creatives.

By launching the list, CPG aims to create a yearly reference point for Ghana’s creative ecosystem — one that reflects sustained work, cross-sector collaboration, and long-term contribution rather than momentary trends.

Selection Criteria

Honourees are selected based on sustained practice throughout the calendar year, quality and originality of output, audience engagement, cultural relevance, and demonstrated impact. Consideration is also given to innovation, national and international brand partnerships, recognitions or nominations, and the ability to amplify Ghanaian stories beyond local audiences. All honourees must be under 50 years old as of 2025.

The list will feature 6 artistic sectors, totalling 100 honorees.

Rollout Plan

The CPG 100 will be unveiled in stages, beginning with the release of select categories, leading up to the full list of 100 honourees. Each release will include individual profiles highlighting the work, contributions, and broader significance of those featured.

CPG describes the initiative as part of its wider mission to document creative labour, encourage collaboration, and contribute to a stronger, more connected creative economy in Ghana.

Further updates and category announcements are shared via Creatives Project Ghana’s platforms.
