The Watermill Center is receiving applications for its 2026 artist residency program. The Artist Residency Program is process-based, without the expectation of a final exhibition of the work. The Watermill Center provides artists with the time, space, and freedom to develop their practice in a communal environment that encourages experimentation. The HUG Visionary Artist Grant is inviting emerging artists all over the worldwide to apply for the grant which provides them with no-strings-attached financial support and a platform to share their work. The Pulitzer Center is seeking proposals from journalists worldwide to advance wide-reaching and relevant journalism on issues impacting communities in Africa, including but not limited to water and sanitation, land degradation and coastal erosion, education, maternal health, and climate resilience. They place special emphasis on projects that inform behavior and policies that improve the lives of the communities reported on, and they encourage local journalists to apply.

The Fresh Voices Fellowship by Epiphany supports one emerging Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, or other writer of color who does not have an MFA in creative writing nor an advanced English degree (MA, PhD), and is not currently enrolled in a degree-granting program. They encourage writers who work outside the traditional literary and academic systems to apply, and applicants must not have an advanced degree in English, creative writing, or other related fields,

For their last quarterly issue of the year, Isele is looking for stories that confront the blank page, stories inspired by the spirit of the Unwritten. The winning design will be used as the official cover for Echoes of the Earth, a groundbreaking anthology centering African and Afro-Diasporic perspectives on ecology, climate justice, and environmental futures. The dot Artist Residency program in Accra offers a supportive space for creativity, collaboration, and artistic growth. Set in the city center, the residency provides artists with the time, space, and resources to deepen their practice and connect with a vibrant creative community.

The Pollock-Krasner Foundation invites visual artists all over the world to apply for the all year rolling grant. The Foundation welcomes, throughout the year, applications from visual artists who are painters, sculptors and artists who work on paper, including printmakers. There are no deadlines. Grants are intended for a one-year period of time. Professional exhibition history will be taken into consideration. Artists must be actively exhibiting their current work in professional artistic venues, such as gallery and museum spaces. Rewards The Foundation will review expenditures relating to an artist’s professional work and personal expenses and amounts range up to $50,000. The size of the grant is determined by the individual circumstances of the artist.
