Creatives Project Ghana (CPG) is proud to introduce the Top 20 Notable Ghanaian Writers of 2025, a category under the CPG 100 — a new annual recognition platform spotlighting creatives whose work has significantly shaped Ghana’s cultural and artistic landscape within a defined calendar year.
This list recognises writers across poetry, fiction, drama, spoken word, publishing, and cross-disciplinary storytelling who demonstrated exceptional output, measurable impact, and sustained creative momentum throughout 2025.
The CPG editorial team began with an extensive longlist of outstanding writers whose work defined the year. Following months of research, verification, and careful deliberation, that longlist was refined into the final 20 presented here.
This is not a ranking. They all hold equal merit.
