Nigerian publisher Masobe Books has announced the signing of Ghanaian author and medical doctor Michael Agyapong for an upcoming title, Where Shadows Gather, marking another milestone for Ghanaian and West African literature.
According to the publishers, the novel weaves together mystery, grief, and political corruption, exploring the slow unravelling of a city plagued by the disappearance of pregnant women and long-held secrets.

Agyapong, who writes under the pseudonym Kwasi Sei (and is active on Instagram and X as @kwasi_sei), is best known for Snappy Stories, his popular microfiction series.
He won the Ananse Prize for Literature at the inaugural Ghana Writers' Awards in 2016. His popular short story, The Madman of Kwamokra, was published by The Kalahari Review in 2017.
He has contributed to two creative anthologies curated by the Ama Ata Aidoo Centre for Creative Writing in Accra.
The publisher noted that more details, including the release date, will be announced shortly.
